Our Chairman (chairman@arcadians.org ; tel: 01285 712 681) would be pleased to have an exploratory talk if you wish, but then we would ask you to put together a brief presentation on your proposal. Which play would you like to direct? In what period and style would you like to set it? Do you have any ideas about the staging, or for any special effects?
If you look at our Previous Productions page you will see which plays Cotswold Arcadians have already performed, but this does not mean that we could not repeat an old favourite. For instance, it is sixteen years since we presented Merry Wives (a delightful play for a summer's evening, and one with good parts for women - not normally one of Shakespeare's strengths!) and there is now a whole new generation of actors, actresses and audiences out there.
