The Cotswold Arcadians is a theatre group based in south-east Gloucestershire whose members are drawn from local amateur drama societies and other local people interested in helping to stage a large scale, open-air Shakespearian production.
Auditions are advertised and parts and production roles are open to all comers.
We try to give our audiences a memorable summer evening; a spectacular setting where they can bring their own picnics to enjoy before the play, and then an entertainment in Shakespeare's inimitable language accompanied by spectacular effects with costumes, sets and music to match.
On at least one night of each production, run seats are offered to OAPs and younger patrons at reduced prices. A dedicated parking area, wheelchair ramps and a sound loop are provided for the disabled.
