Our Chairman, Geoff Butterworth (01367 850 168 or chairman@arcadians.org) would be pleased to have an exploratory talk if you wish, but then we would ask you to tell us a little about yourself and to put together a brief presentation on your proposal. Which play would you like to direct? In what period and style would you like to set it? Do you have any ideas about the staging, or for any special effects?

If you look at our Previous Productions page you will see which plays Cotswold Arcadians have already performed, but this does not mean that we could not repeat an old favourite. For instance, we last presented Merry Wives (a delightful play for a summer's evening, and one with good parts for women - not normally one of Shakespeare's strengths!) in 1991 and there is now a whole new generation of actors, actresses and audiences out there. But we have never performed All's Well or ...Two Gentlemen of Verona or ... Julius Caesar.
