David Sherratt was Festival Director of the residential Pendley Shakespeare Festival and has directed A Midsummer Night's Dream (2005), Much Ado About Nothing (2007), and The Taming of the Shrew (2009) for Cotswold Arcadians.

Last year he directed Much Ado at Hazelbury Manor for the Shakespeare Live Company, and directed Blithe Spirit in Marlborough in early November 2011 for the Marlborough Players.
